Library
You can encourage your child’s interest in reading read by regularly taking them to the library and letting them choose a book to check out.
If you start from when they are very little you can participate in classes (that are often free) at the library too, to make going to get books from the library a habit!
Alternatively, you can always take your children to the shop and let them decide which book they would like to purchase.
There are many cost-effective ways to do this with second-hand bookstores or exchanges.
It is important to remember that children are more likely to read a book they have chosen for themselves!
